The EE-T project, Economics e-Translations into and from European Languages, is funded by the European Commission in the framework of the
Lifelong Learning Programme Erasmus sub programme.
The EE-T project has the objective to assess the impact of translations of economic texts on the History of Economic Thought in Europe. Historical and linguistic analysis of the different translations is indeed necessary to fully understand the circulation of economic ideas, in order to provide a richer approach to the History of Economic Thought.
The project is addressed to:
- Researchers specialised in History of Economic Thought (HET)
- Researchers specialized in Languages for Specific Purposes (LSP) studies.
- Educators in HET, linguistics and experts in pedagogy.
- Graduate students.
The project activities are organized into 4 main Work Packages:
- Production of the database of translations of economics texts.
- Research Activity focussing on the phenomenon of translations of economics.
- Production of the project portal and platform and its educational materials
- Production of online lectures on translation of economic texts.
