The EE-T Project Final Conference

On 11-12-13 September, the international conference entitled Translations of Economic Texts into and from European Languages, was organized in the framework of the EE-T project. The conference was held at the University of Pisa (Italy). The aim of the conference was to present the results of researches carried out throughout Europe, by the EET project contractual and associated partners, on the international circulation of economic ideas through translations and adaptations of economic texts. The keynote speech was made by Evelyn Louise Forget from the University of Manitoba (Canada). Several papers were presented, in the framework of parallel sessions, by experts representing universities based in Europe, US, Canada and South America. More information about the experts attending and the papers presented and discussed can be found checking the conference programme.

The three days event was attended by around 100 participants representing: lecturers, researchers, students in the field of history of economic thought.

Every paper presented was the basis for an international discussion among the conference participants. The discussions continued in the informal framework of the social events organized by the conference committee.
