ABSTRACT

This guide aims at providing an introduction to the general context within which the translation of Keynes’s works into German, especially the most interesting case of the General Theory is to be seen. The guide thus relates to the related research paper by Harald Hagemann. The guide provides short overviews on Keynes’s biography, his works (including a short overview of German translations), and his legacy. Some exercises and a short test conclude the guide.
